Abstract

The Office for Scientific and Technical Personnel of the O.E.E.C. is undertaking as part of its program a number of studies of science curricula at the secondary school level, the purpose of which is to bring the secondary school curricula into line with modern developments in the scientific disciplines. Reports on the modern approach to the teaching of mathematics and chemistry are in the final stages of preparation, and the following document was produced as part of the preparatory work now being undertaken in physics.
