Abstract

This work offers students the use of geometry in a simpler and more practical way, providing the teaching of Symmetry and based on this assumption, the use of folding techniques, combining this work with the practical and logical field of use of concepts, providing students with a effective understanding of the geometric proposal used, in addition to putting the student in front of numerous questions required in the ENEM test, which are often seen in this exam. This activity was applied to a seventh grade class of elementary school II in a Federal Public School in the metropolitan region of Belém, showing its effectiveness and harmonization with the content of Plane Geometry, corroborating for a better teaching with an effective learning of the contents of the proposed teaching.
