Abstract
The construction of projectively related affine connected manifolds by T. Y. Thomas is reformulated in terms of the bundle of contravariant volume forms on the manifold. The connection introduced by T. Y. Thomas is examined both in terms of the Cartan connection on the projective bundle over the manifold and the structure of the bundle of volume forms.
