Abstract
The spontaneous fission branching ratios (B) of even-Z, 90 ≤ Z ≤ 100, nuclei were found to be correlated to log B = 1.6247 × Z – 1.0361(2Z – N) – 114.66. Based on this correlation, it is predicted that the isotopes 226Ra and 228Th are spontaneous fission isotopes.
