Abstract

The current period in our country's development is characterized by further enhancement of the leading role of the working class. Developed socialist society requires a constant uplifting of its educational, cultural, and technological level. Under these conditions, the quality of skilled worker training acquires special significance for the national economy. The party and the government, and L. I. Brezhnev personally, devote ongoing attention to the vocational and technical education system, which is the basic school for training highly skilled workers.
