Abstract

Considering the global scale of the most worrying problem for mankind the state of the environment, the author describes in detail the system of works required to provide environmental education to the students of extracurricular educational institutions. It is noted that both natural and anthropogenic factors cause various changes in the environment, which radically affect the life of a region. As a result of the constant interaction between the environment, economy, culture, and human activity, changes in one of the links of this chain equally affect the others. Hence, there is an urgent need for environmental education, which is based on the experience of personal development and making important decisions to protect the environment.
