Abstract

A new classic dual-band waveguide band-stop filter of high performance is presented for high performance. It is designed with a new topology based on an improved transversal array network. Firstly, extend to the dual-band band-stop filters from single-band band-stop filters and realize the synthesis of coupling matrix automatically by MATLAB. Secondly, for dual-band band-stop filters of high sensitivity, this thesis provides an improved coupling network and designs a new dual-band band-stop filter. Finally, an example of a new classic dual-band waveguide band-stop is given of eighth-order. And H-plane full-height inductively windows are employed for realization of all the couplings. The measured results and simulation results are presented and agree well.
