Abstract

AbstractThirty‐one complexes of zinc ethylenebis(dithiocarbamate), zineb, were synthesised and evaluated in comparison with zineb and mancozeb across a broad range of pathogens. The activity of zineb was greatly potentiated and its persistence increased against several pathogens, particularly Puccinia recondita. Use of an excess of particular amines provided a convenient method of analysis for zineb.
