Abstract
A method, based on the synergistic action of two antibody systems, is suggested as a lymphocyte cross-match test. To donor lymphocytes in the serum of the recipient a rabbit anti-human lymphocyte antibody, in sublytic quantities, is added before the addition of the complement. Results obtained with this test in tissue typing sera are compared to the lymphocyte microcytotoxicity test. It could be shown that the new test is more sensitive than the ordinary microcytotoxicity test.
