Abstract

This paper presents the modern state of the problem of the syndrome of abdominal compression in urgent surgery of the organs of the abdominal cavity. Special attention is paid to procedures of a temporary closure of the abdominal cavity after performing surgical interference under the conditions of high intraabdominal pressure. Their advantages and short-comings as well as questions, requiring further research have been outlined.
