Abstract

The brushless DC motors for Aviation fuel pump use Hall position sensors to get the position of rotor in motors. The rotors' switching time would be advanced or delayed because of the angle error in Hall position sensors. In order to ensure the motor run reliably, the switching time has to be determined accurately. By numerical analysis, this article compares the perfect switching time with the advanced switching time and delayed switching time. Meanwhile, we prove the phase influence to rotors and propose the electric potential methods to confirm the perfect switching time. This method is validated by the Magnet software simulation.
