Abstract
Big Data analysis becomes the continuously emerging and extensively used technique in present days. The research approaches in the field of Big data analysis become very important to serve better techniques for applications dealing with huge amount of data. Since traditional queries of database could not efficiently work on Big data, thus this paper presented the survey on algorithms dealing with the processing of skyline queries, an extended form of database queries. The algorithms selected in the survey are dealing with varieties of data generated by different applications such as uncertain data, incomplete data, time series data and interval uncertain data. The main objective of this survey is to give the overview of existing algorithms designed for data specific applications.
