Abstract
The suprasellar meningioma is definded as a tumor, which originating from the tuberculum sellae in the presellar area, and, developing between the two optic nerves, pushes the chiasm backwards and upwards. The classic syndrome consists of a bitemporal hemianopia with primary optic atrophy and a normal sella in an otherwise healthy middle-aged person (2). Beside this more common type GUIOT and his collaborators (7) have pointed out a type which starts from the diaphragma or dorsum sellae and has a tendency to develop retrosellarly.KeywordsPituitary AdenomaCarotid SiphonTuberculum SellaeBitemporal HemianopiaClassic SyndromeThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
