Abstract
Insoo Kim Berg, MSSW (1934–2007) embodied the solution-focused (SF) approach. Her book with Peter De Jong (De Jong and Berg 2012) is one of the top-selling texts dedicated to solution-focused work, and few have traveled the globe providing training in this approach as much as she did over a nearly 30-year span. Videos of Insoo’s therapy with individuals, couples, and families continue to provide illustration and inspiration for the current and future generations of mental health professionals, supervisors, business professionals, and educators.
