The superspace-translation tensor and linearized N = 1 supergravities

Abstract

The recently proposed superspace-translation tensor is considered as the source of supergravities in the context of N = 1 supersymmetry. It is shown how the structure of this tensor leads to a complete evaluation of the linearized supervielbein in terms of unconstrained prepotentials with derived transformation laws. Connection with formulations using torsion constraints is made.
