Abstract
A FEW months ago I sent to the National Review a paper, which the editors kindly inserted, on the sun's radiation of heat. So far as I am aware, my theory has been completely ignored by those best competent to form an opinion upon the subject. My contention seems so plausible that I venture to appeal to you to allow me to give the following brief exposition of my view, in the hope that I may be able to elicit some authoritative reply.
