Abstract

With the remolding of the automobile industry and the reconstruction of the value chain, the traditional automobile giants have embarked on the digital transformation and ecological layout of the new energy business, so the business model’s innovation and reform are imminent. This paper makes a comparative analysis of the business models of Tesla and NIO by combing the current business models of automobile enterprises in the sales and use links with the four-elements model proposed by Professors Johnson and Christensen of Harvard University. Finally, based on some auto companies’ current business models, this paper provides some new ideas for the business model innovation in the new energy business layout of Chinese auto companies.
