Abstract
The guide pulley, also called pilot wheel, is an important part in textile machine. It is a kind of spatial cam with complicated profile. This paper solved the problem of how to use the circle interpolate function of numerical controlled machine tool to machine the circle portion in the developed graph of the cam contour.
