Abstract

The planned management of socialist economy has always been based on the knowledge of its objective laws: the goals of production, development according to plan, proportionality, continuous growth of the productivity of social labor on the basis of technical and organizational progress, the law of value, etc. The intelligent, scientifically based use of socialist production's advantages over capitalist production has brought our nation advances of a world-historical nature, and has enabled us, in a short period of time and under the most trying conditions in history, to resolve a number of problems related to economic competition with the most developed capitalist countries and to improving the well-being of the people, as well as to create a defensive might that ensures the preservation of peaceful conditions of development.
