Abstract
Paul Weirich uses decision theory to argue for a probabilistic unification of Bayesian methods and Fisher significance tests. He resolves the problem of the subjectivity of prior probabilities by distinguishing subjectivity in probability assignments from subjectivity in using those probability assignments to make decisions.
