Abstract

Combined with the anticorrosion character and requirement of the ocean engineering, the painting growth model sprayed by the coating spray robot is studied in this article. A special experiment platform is set up to carry out the test orthogonal experiment design method (OED), and enough data are recorded. Experimental data are used to build back propagation (BP) neural network as a sample set, while validated by the genetic algorithm (GA). Then the dry film thickness (DFT) growth model is established to analyze the relevance between dry film thickness and influence factors such as distance between the spray gun and surface, spray gun nozzle, velocity of the spray gun and so on. The model can provide important theoretical direction for the use of spray robot in the ocean engineering.
