Abstract

Abstract In order to study the effect of water mist on fire smoke disorder and sinking in road tunnels, it is studied that the influence of water mist particle size on the thickness and temperature distribution and carbon monoxide concentration distribution of fire smoke in the absence of ventilation and longitudinal ventilation. The study is conducted on the road tunnel fire smoke migration characteristics research experiment system. And then preliminary analysis of coupling effect of water mist and ventilation is carried on. The result shows that the release of water mist can make the smoke layer thickening and sinking. The particle size has significant effect on thickness of smoke layer and distribution of temperature, but has less influence on the concentration of CO.
