Abstract

We demonstrate comparative studies for UV light generation based on conventional fiber laser and photonic crystal fiber lasers. Conventional fiber based master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) system and passively Q-switched (PQS) photonic crystal fiber (PCF) laser were used as the fundamental wavelength light sources to generate UV light.
