Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the functioning of dance style in everyday shoes, clothing and accessories, conducted in order to identify consumer preferences in the field of stylized wardrobe products. At the stage of developing the concept of designing shoes in the style of a ballet costume, an online survey was conducted. This type of survey provides respondents with the maximum level of convenience, since they can answer the questionnaire questions according to their pace, chosen time and preferences. The developed questionnaire for the study of consumer preferences regarding models of pumps as a popular type of footwear is designed to identify the most popular factors when purchasing casual shoes, such as: the relevance of the model, the material used in the manufacture, the style and cost of shoes. Based on the results, we can conclude about the relevance of ballet style in modern shoes, clothes and accessories, both women’s and children’s wardrobes. This approach is being developed within the framework of the master’s thesis Korzh K.V. and is supposed to be introduced into the educational process of the department «Artistic Modeling, Design and Technology of Leather products», Kosygin Russian State University (Technologies. Design. Art) in the form of a textbook. In general, the direction of stylization of the stage image into everyday fashion is relevant, since the majority of respondents directly relate themselves to the culture of dance of one direction or another. The results obtained by the online survey method can be recommended to fashion designers and designers when developing new collections of shoes and accessories.
