Abstract
The reaction of the synthesis of asymmetric compound ester of adipinic acid via IR spectroscopy method is studied. To research the process of obtaining mono- and diesters, the samples were taken each hour and their IR specters made. The process was observed by the decrease of the optic density of carbonyl groups of acid and by the increase of optical density of forming carbonyl groups of compound ester with additional reaction time. The interpretation of the main absorption bands in the specters of studied compounds is provided. Moreover, the physical-chemical and viscous-temperature characteristics of obtained compound were studied. Thus, analyzing IR specters and the data of changing optical density of С=О connection both as an acid and compound ester due to the synthesis time in studied samples, we can make a conclusion that the duration of reaction of the synthesis of mono- and diesters comprises 3 and 4 hours correspondingly.
