Abstract

The focus of this article is on the use of "S" in contemporary English grammar. This operator's behavior in the English language is examined. Because this marker is so crucial to the functioning of this English language, a study has concluded. Many people have questioned its origin and status in the linguistic and grammatical fields. The origins of synchronic variation have been inferred from some historical studies, but this hasn't always been the case. By focusing on its function and position in relation to the verb or noun, we've demonstrated that the letter "S" can be used as a marker for verbal or noun agreements. A verbal marker is distinct from a noun marker in that it serves an entirely different purpose. However, the focus of the current research is on its status as a marker of verbal agreement.
