Abstract

Objective To study the HAMA score of subjects before and after LASIK for the psychological character pre-operation in different level of Myopia cases.Methods The 146 cases were measured by Hamilton manifest anxiety scale(HAMA)with 14 elements 1 day before and after operation,while all cases were enrolled into two groups of high level group or low and medium level group according to their level of myopia.The dates of groups were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 with t test between groups meanwhile the difference between pre-and post-operation were analyzed by t test of marched datas.Results The average of anxiety score of all case before operation was (7.71 ± 0.62 ) that implicated the perhaps anxiety while the low and medium group was (6.08±0.80) seems non-anxiety,the high amblyopic group was (8.86±0.97)perhaps anxiety.The dates of 3 pre-operation was significant difference in all cases groups to low and medium group( P =0.045 )while the low and medium group to high myopia group show the same result(P=0.087).The post-operation cases all get the datas below 6 points non-anxiety.The significant different between pre-and post-operation in all cases groups ( P =0.041 ) and high myopia group ( P =0.034 ),the low and medium myopia group was no significant difference between pre-and post-operation(P=0.12).Conclusion The anxiety in pre-opration of LASIK was more significant in high myopia subjects than others,so it seem the matched psychological action maybe help before LASIK.
