Abstract

Abstract The pressure dynamic characteristics of hydraulic brakes directly impact the efficiency of the brake control system and aircraft stop distance. A simulation model of hydraulic brake is established with Simulink software. The simulation results are compared with the test results, which proves the reliability of the analysis model. The simulation results visually give the microscopic process of pressure rise and fall in the brake assembly. The study of dynamic characteristics is performed with the correlated simulation model to figure out the reasons for the slow rate of pressure rise and fall, for which suggestions are proposed for future system design improvements.
