Abstract

Criteria for spouse selection of great complexity and coordinated these criteria is important in the formation and strengthening of family bonds. The present study was to evaluate the mate-selection criteria among ethnic groups in done. For this purpose, according to Cochran formula of calculation of the required preliminary test of 550 questionnaires were selected as sample size that the citizens of nine city in the province of Fars Bakhtiari ethnic population and Turk the appropriate quotas were distributed. 440 questionnaires were eventually got full and analysis. For people Turk employment, income, mental health, good social relationships, ability to express emotions, virtue, and ethnicity same, not having sex before marriage have noted Independence vote. The overall analysis showed that among ethnic groups in love cookies, mental health, morals, not having sex before marriage and responsibility are the most important criteria.
