Abstract

ABSTRACTA survey is made of the information about ionospheric irregularities which can be obtained by the study of the scintillation of radio waves received from satellites. Special consideration is given to experimental methods, both existing and proposed, which give quantitative information about the size and shape of the irregularities and about the height and the thickness of the layer in which they are situated.
