Abstract
Perfect walking posture has been of enormous significance for fashion model. Models with good walking postures can convey the fashion design to the audience clearly and further attract them. This paper studied and analyzed the basic walking postures of famous female fashion models by methods of video and image analysis. Through analysis of measurements from videos and images, some basic principles of walking posture were acquired. At last, this paper fabricated a virtual model with a group of standard walking postures in a gait cycle by using 3D software.
