Abstract

The academic study of Christian theology in Britain today in secular universities and higher education institutions is changing. Its past is subject to harsh criticism and its future open to questions of viability and location. This paper begins to engage with some of the important issues of identity and academic integrity that surround the discussion of the future of specifically undergraduate Christian theology programmes in Britain.
