Abstract

ADEOS (Advanced Earth Observing Satellite) was launched on 17 August 1996 by an H-II rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center. After the satellite operated for 10 months, the operation stopped on 30 June 1997. After investigation with telemetry data, it was found that the loss of power caused by the fracture of a solar array paddle was attributed to the anomaly. In this paper, we describe the results of the analysis with the telemetry data of satellite attitude to find the cause of anomaly of solar array paddle.
