Abstract

MISS JACKSON (B.S. in Nursing, Vanderbilt University) is director of the Sarah Fisher Nursery Child Development Unite of Providence Hospital, Detroit. Two and a half years on the staff of the Madison (Wisconsin) Visiting Nurse Service gave her valuable background in generalized family service, after which she spent six months in Children's Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. She then spent a year at Merrill-Palmer School, Detroit, studying child growth and development following which she assumed her present position as director of an experiment in child development. SISTER LOUISE (St. Mary's, Rochester, N.Y.: B.S. in Nursing Education, Catholic University of America) is director of the Providence Hospital School of Nursing, Detroit. She has been associated with the schools of nursing at St. Mary's, Rochester; St. Vincent, Norfolk, Va.; and St. Mary's, Detroit, as a faculty member and an administrator.
