Abstract

In terms of syntactic and functional analysis on Finite clauses, English language acquisition has been a long and hard road. During their learning a foreign language, students are often influenced by their native language, even its grammatical and functional rules in organizing and expressing their ideas in a foreign language. This paper employs the advantageous perspectives of corpus analysis (discourse discussion) to categorize clauses clearly and theoretically so that students can enhance and understand all the theoretically and practically functional and syntactic valuation of features and use these structures correctly and effectively.
