Abstract
Two low energy satellites of the iron Kβ line were observed in the spectra of DyFe2, DyFe3, Dy2Fe17, YDyFe17 and Y2Fe17, and were interpreted as plasmon modes excited in the crystalline lattice. Peak energies were successfully fitted within the electronic collective excitation model specific to the crystal and electronic structures of related compounds.
