Abstract Interferometric observations at a frequency of 2695 MHz have been made of twenty-one quasi-stellar radio sources, of which nineteen were resolved at the spacing of 16200 wavelengths. Positions have been determined for those sources which are not too heavily resolved, and it is found that in most cases the centroid of the radio emission lies near the optical object. Only two of the resolved sources have radio components which coincide with the blue stellar object. It is shown that the quasi-stellar sources which are large in angular extent have steep radio spectral indices. The positions and models of brightness distribution are given for fourteen other sources which have been suggested as possible quasi-stellar sources Publication: The Astrophysical Journal Pub Date: March 1969 DOI: 10.1086/149936 Bibcode: 1969ApJ...155.1099H full text sources ADS | data products SIMBAD (41)
