Abstract Radio telescopes of the NASA-JPL Deep Space Network near Woomera and near Canberra were oper- ated as an interferometer in the latter part of 1969 and in May 1970 to study the dependence of correlated flux from P t934-63 at 2.3 GHz on the orientation of the baseline. The effective baseline distance varied between 7 and 9 million wavelengths during the observations. It was found that two discrete components accounted for 60% of the flux received. These components are about 0.008 arc sec along their major axes and at a separation of 0.040 arc sec along an east-west direction. There is some evidence of a weak discrete component in motion with respect to the major discrete components. Measurements of the total flux have also been made in order to determine possible secular changes, and a decrease of -0.7% per annum since 1967 was found.
