Abstract
We describe the algebraic structure of group C*-algebras of some discrete solvable semi-direct products in terms of finite composition series, and show that some subquotients are decomposed into C*-algebras of continuous fields with their fibers non-isomorphic to noncommutative tori. We also discuss some applications of these results.
