VLA Observations and Optical Identifications of Sources in The 6cm Intermediate Source Surveys Maslowski, J. ; Mitchell, K. ; Kellermann, K. I. Abstract We present the brightness distribution of nine radio sources selected from the VLA Intermediate Source Survey [Fomalont et al. Science, 225, 23 (1984)] and suggest optical identifications for six of the sources. The radio structures include both unresolved and multicomponent morphology characteristic of stronger source samples. The optically identified sample includes one extended source identified with a bright Spiral galaxy two flat spectrum unresolved sources identified with quasistellar objects, and three steep spectrum sources identified with faint galaxies.
