Abstract
Centered aperture photometry and small-aperture drift scans have been used to derive surface-brightness profiles for the southern globular clusters NGC 104 (47 Tuc), NGC 5139 (a) Cen), NGC 6397, and NGC 6752. Star counts have been used to extend the profiles into the outer regions of each cluster. The observed distributions are compared with the theoretical surface-density distributions of the models of King.
