Abstract

For the LT code has the drawback of large storage space, which will lead the long delay when communicating. a method of the storage application of fountain code with data compression technology has been introduced into the structure of fountain code, whose core idea is to decrease the amounts of data without breaking the characteristics of the fountain code through entropy coding, and the way of data compression and the general encode and decode system models are given. Also, the paper has analyzed the optimal parameters of LT code in the distribution, which can affect the decoding accuracy. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that: Compared with the existing system, the proposed method can effectively improve the decoding probability and reduce the operation complexity and storage space.
