Abstract

Because of its high efficiency and flexible control, inverters are widely used in renewable energy generation. The inverter’s mathematical model is critical in system design and analysis. It is necessary to establish an accurate grid connected inverter model to carry out a reliable load flow analysis calculation. The amplitude and phase of the reference control strategy can be used to perform power transformation and control analysis. This paper proposed a steady-state power model controlled by amplitude and phase based on a two-level inverter. Then, the mathematical derivation of the proposed model is presented in detail. Furthermore, the simulation model’s details are then built. The simulation results validate the model’s effectiveness.
