Abstract

Objective To analyze the status quo, hotspot and existing problems of the development on cancer in China and provide references for the future study. Methods We searched the CNKI, Wanfang data, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (sinoMed), China academic journal database, Pubmed and Web of Science, using the key words: neoplasm symptom clusters to collect the applicable Chinese articles. The study used bibliometrics to undertake a quantitative analysis. Results A total of 104 papers from 40 different journals were analyzed. The leading research type was descriptive research. The most varieties of cancer research were lung cancer (30.43%), breast cancer (18.84%) and ovarian cancer (13.04%). There are 18 key word's frequency greater than 5, generating a co-occurrence network and graph. Conclusions In the bibliometric analysis, the following variables showed a significantly positive trend: management of clusters, correlation between symptoms and quality of life, fatigue-relate cluster and its non-pharmacotherapy.
