Abstract

This study on families living in the most difficult circumstances draws upon a rich set of characteristics, or ‘family strengths’, that enables family members to nurture and continue to prosper in the face of even the most extreme adversity. This report contributes to shifting the research on families in Qatar and the Arab World from a deficit-centered approach to a strengths-based perspective, identifying the strengths of family members, community and culture. 1st English edition
