Based on the analysis of statistical data, the author defines the main directions and methods of countering organized crime. «Главный Информационно - Аналитический Центр» Министерства Внутренних дел Российской Федерации в своем отчете «Состояние преступности в Российской Федерации за январь-ноябрь 2021 года» представил следующие данные о динамике организованной преступности: «Организованными группами или преступными сообществами совершено 20,2 тыс. Санкт-Петербурга, представленные на официальном сайте Прокуратуры Санкт-Петербурга, так же свидетельствуют о росте числа преступлений, совершенных организованной группой или преступным сообществом.
