Abstract
A method to estimate the standard deviation of eigenvalue and eigenvector of random multiple degrees of freedom (MDOF) systems is presented. This method can be applied not only to the MDOF systems with distinct eigenvalues, but also to the systems with multiple eigenvalue. Results for a beam and a truss are presented.
