Abstract

In this paper, we consider the stabilisation of a heat system with input delay and control matched disturbance. Firstly, the input delay term is translated into a first-order hyperbolic equation and obtain a cascaded PDE system. Then, we transform the unstable cascaded system into a target system by backstepping transformations. Meanwhile, the disturbance is estimated by applying active disturbance rejection control approach in real time and the feedback control is thus designed. Under the control feedback, we obtain the stabilisation of the system. Finally, some numerical simulations are presented for illustration.
