Abstract
Results of space image interpretation for the St. Petersburg flood protection system over the period March 1973-June 1992 are presented. It was determined that the system of technical-engineering structures constituting the flood protection system produced no fundamental change in the hydrologic regime of the waters of the Neva Inlet and the adjacent eastern Gulf of Finland.
