Abstract

Background and Aim: Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a well-known but rare clinical entity characterized by progressive cholestasis and eventually decompensated chronic liver disease. PSC also has an established association with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Though there are a few population-based studies on PSC from northern Europe, data regarding the clinical profile of this disease from the Indian subcontinent are scanty.
